ACI Engineer Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure

Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a proficient and certified ACI Engineer to become a part of our dynamic team. The perfect candidate will possess extensive knowledge in the implementation and management of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), contributing to efficient integration, optimization, and upkeep of network solutions. This position necessitates practical experience with ACI deployments and robust problem-solving capabilities to address the organization's changing network requirements.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and Implementation:
• Develop, design, and execute Cisco ACI solutions that align with business needs.
• Set up and deploy Application Policy Infrastructure Controllers (APICs), endpoints, and relevant policies.
• Network Optimization and Maintenance:
• Oversee and sustain ACI infrastructure to guarantee peak performance and dependability.
• Carry out regular performance enhancements, upgrades, and capacity assessments.
• Diagnose and rectify intricate network issues within the ACI framework.
• Integration and Automation:
• Integrate ACI with current network and cloud infrastructures.
• Automate workflows and policies using solutions such as Python, Ansible, or Cisco's DCNM.
• Security and Compliance:
• Establish and oversee network security policies within the ACI ecosystem.
• Ensure adherence to organizational and industry regulations.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, cloud, and application groups, to ensure network solutions meet business objectives.
• Develop and preserve comprehensive technical documentation for ACI configurations and protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a Cisco ACI Certification (e.g., Cisco Certified Specialist - ACI).
• 3-5 years of practical experience in Cisco ACI design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Strong comprehension of network protocols and technologies (e.g., VLAN, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, multicast).
• Expertise in Cisco APIC and associated tools.
• Familiarity with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting).
• Thorough understanding of hybrid cloud environments and their integration with ACI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of other Cisco data center solutions, such as Nexus switches or UCS.
• Experience with SDN, NFV, and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and network management frameworks.
