Technology analyst

Core Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and sustain enterprise-level applications utilizing Liferay DXP Portal
• Create and modify portlets, themes, layouts, hooks, fragments, and widgets
• Construct and deploy OSGi modules, services, and RESTful APIs
• Establish content management workflows and personalization options within the Liferay environment
• Integrate Liferay with external applications, databases, and third-party systems
• Implement tailored solutions using Java Spring Framework, JSP, JavaScript, and RESTful services
• Configure and oversee Liferay environments, including deployments and upgrades
• Diagnose application issues and enhance portal performance
• Work collaboratively with architects, business analysts, UX teams, and stakeholders to fulfill business requirements
• Adhere to Agile development practices and DevOps methodologies
• Essential Skills
• Extensive experience with Liferay DXP 7
• Proficient in Liferay Portal development
• Strong command of Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
• Familiarity with OSGi Framework, Service Builder, and module development
• In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, and web services integration
• Experience in developing custom portlets, themes, layouts, hooks, and extensions
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React, or Angular
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of application servers such as Tomcat
• Experience with relational database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Understanding of portal security, authentication, authorization, and SSO implementations
