Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT Business Engineer Lead with significant expertise in Temenos Transact Core Banking and a solid background in the Private Banking sector.

This position entails the analysis of business processes, gathering of requirements, the design of functional solutions, and the support of system enhancements. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business users, IT teams, and vendors to achieve seamless integration and optimization of the core banking platform along with its associated applications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between business requirements and technological solutions across core banking and integrated applications.
• Lead the analysis of requirements, conduct impact assessments, and design functional solutions for system enhancements.
• Create business requirements, functional specifications, data mapping, migration documentation, reporting requirements, and user manuals.
• Develop scalable solutions while minimizing operational and delivery risks.
• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, internal technology teams, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in development, testing, data migration, user training, implementation, and production rollouts.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops to clarify requirements and propose suitable processes.
• Manage changes to requirements and maintain accurate change logs and project documentation.
• Provide regular updates on project status and escalate risks or issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that solutions comply with business, quality, regulatory, and risk management standards.
• Assist in the complete implementation of system changes within established timelines.

Required Experience and Skills

• 12–15 years of experience in IT business analysis, systems engineering, implementation, or application support.
• Extensive experience in Core Banking, ideally within the Private Banking sector.
• Practical functional knowledge of Temenos Transact / T24 Core Banking.
• Familiarity with Temenos modules such as AA, MD, SC, DX, and SY.
• Deep understanding of Private Banking products and processes.
• Experience in conducting or facilitating Process-Level Walkthroughs (PLWs) and recommending processes for new applications.
• Experience throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficient in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Exceptional stakeholder, vendor, and project coordination skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation abilities.

Preferred Product Knowledge

Experience in one or more of the following areas is advantageous:

• Credit Products: Mortgages, Lombard Loans, Structured Finance, and Guarantees
• Derivatives: Options and Structured Products
• Securities: Equities, Fixed Income, and Funds
• Private Banking products and related operational processes
