Job Overview

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Student Counsellor to become a part of our team. The Student Counsellor will offer essential guidance and resources to enable students to reach their highest potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counselling sessions with students to discuss academic, personal, and social concerns.
• Design and execute workshops and programs aimed at enhancing mental health and well-being among the student body.
• Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and staff to foster a nurturing environment for student development.
• Keep precise records of counselling sessions and monitor student progress.
• Stay informed about current trends and effective practices in student counselling and mental health.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students and faculty effectively.
• Empathy and active listening abilities to understand and assist students effectively.
• Familiarity with counselling techniques and methodologies.
• Capability to collaborate within a team environment and engage with a diverse student demographic.
• Knowledge of mental health resources and referral processes.
• Crisis intervention skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism.

Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree (No BE or B.Tech); MBA candidates are preferred.

Experience: Freshers only.

Exceptional communication skills are required.

Shift: Day shift (Fixed weekends off on 2nd and 4th Saturday and Sunday).

Salary: 3 lakh + 1 lakh variable pay.

Languages: English, Kannada, with Hindi as an optional language.

Location: Frazer Town, Bangalore.

Age limit: 30 years.
