Senior Trader / Originator

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business development and origination activities across APAC environmental commodity markets.
• Create, develop and maintain relationships with counterparties, including corporates, utilities and market participants.
• Source, negotiate and complete trading opportunities across regional markets.
• Develop new business pipelines and grow existing commercial networks.
• Track market trends, pricing movements and regulatory updates to uncover opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to enable trading activities and support business expansion.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in commodities, energy, trading or environmental markets.
• Demonstrated experience in sales, trading, origination or business development.
• Strong network and comprehensive market knowledge across APAC, with a particular focus on Southeast Asia.
• Sound commercial judgement and the capability to independently develop new business.
• High proficiency in negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented approach.
