API Test lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate API specifications and business requirements thoroughly
• Design, develop, and implement test cases for API functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Conduct both manual and automated API testing utilizing Postman
• Establish and manage Postman Collections, environments, and automated testing scripts
• Assess API responses, including status codes, headers, payloads, and performance metrics
• Execute data validation through SQL queries and backend databases
• Identify, log, track, and confirm defects using defect management tools like JIRA
• Integrate API testing suites within CI/CD pipelines
• Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Generate test reports and deliver quality metrics to stakeholders
