Senior system engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate API specifications and business requirements to ensure thorough understanding.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive API test cases for functional integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Conduct both manual and automated API testing utilizing Postman.
• Establish and manage Postman Collections, environments, and automated testing scripts.
• Assess API responses, including status codes, headers, payloads, and performance metrics for accuracy.
• Execute data validation tasks using SQL queries and backend databases.
• Detect, log, track, and verify defects with the aid of defect management tools like JIRA.
• Integrate API testing suites within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Work in collaboration with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Compile test reports and deliver quality metrics to relevant stakeholders.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficient in API Testing technologies, specifically Postman and RestAssured.
