Job Summary

Senior Software Engineer B2 role for an experienced professional with deep expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript PL SQL and mySQL. You will design scalable hybrid cloud applications to improve performance, uphold code quality, and work closely with cross-functional teams within a flexible hybrid work model with no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Design robust, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot to support critical business applications and ensure dependable transaction processing
• Develop secure, efficient cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services to optimize application performance and strengthen operational resilience
• Implement advanced SQL and PL SQL logic to handle large data sets while maintaining data integrity, consistency, and accuracy
• Optimize relational database schemas and mySQL queries to reduce latency and improve overall application responsiveness
• Create responsive, accessible user interfaces using JavaScript to provide consistent, intuitive user experiences across browsers
• Partner with product owners, architects, and testers to refine requirements and deliver incremental value in a hybrid work environment
• Use secure coding practices and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high quality standards and minimize production defects
• Automate unit, integration, and regression testing to increase reliability and enable safe deployment of new features and enhancements
• Use observability tools to monitor application health and performance, detect bottlenecks, and proactively resolve technical issues
• Participate in technical design discussions and maintain documentation to support shared understanding and long-term maintainability for complex systems
• Mentor junior engineers on coding standards, design patterns, and best practices to improve overall team capability and productivity
• Coordinate with DevOps teams to optimize build and deployment pipelines on AWS and support continuous integration and delivery
• Lead continuous improvement efforts by reviewing production incidents and implementing sustainable corrective actions that enhance system stability
• Ensure engineering solutions support company goals by promoting responsible technology use and delivering positive outcomes for customers and society

Qualifications

• Demonstrate extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications using Java and Spring Boot within complex ecosystems
• Provide strong proficiency building and optimizing SQL and PL SQL queries in mySQL and related relational database platforms for high-volume workloads
• Show hands-on expertise with core AWS services including compute storage networking and managed databases to deliver resilient cloud solutions
• Apply a solid understanding of JavaScript and modern frontend development practices to integrate intuitive interfaces with backend services
• Use practical knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented principles to build maintainable, testable codebases
• Demonstrate familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance standards relevant to cloud-hosted applications in a multinational environment
• Possess experience working in hybrid agile teams, collaborating through digital tools to deliver features on time with consistent quality

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate preferred plus any Java or SQL certification
