Job Description:

• We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RDK B Engineer to join our broadband software development team.
• The perfect candidate will possess a solid background in embedded Linux networking protocols and C programming, along with practical experience in RDK B architecture and the Yocto build system.
• Your primary responsibility will be to develop, integrate, and maintain broadband gateway functionalities on RDK B platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain components within the RDK B stack for broadband gateways.
• Work on networking functionalities including DHCP, DNS, NAT, firewall, IPv6, TR-069, and Wi-Fi management.
• Integrate third-party modules while ensuring adherence to TR-181 data models.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the software stack, including kernel, middleware, and application layers.
• Collaborate with QA, hardware, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Contribute to system performance tuning, security enhancements, and feature optimizations.
• Engage in code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD processes.

Technical Requirements:

• Required Skills
• Extensive experience with RDK B architecture and broadband gateway development.
• Expertise in C programming within embedded Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and IPv6.
• Experience with Linux system internals, shell scripting, and build systems like Yocto and Make.
• Familiarity with TR-069, TR-181, and Wi-Fi management tools such as hostapd and wpa_supplicant.
• Proficient in debugging tools like GDB, Valgrind, Wireshark, and log analyzers.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development practices.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience integrating DOCSIS and Wi-Fi drivers.
• Involvement in RDK community contributions or open-source broadband initiatives.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation purposes.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
