Senior Technology Architect

Job Summary

Act as a senior technology architect focused on Kinaxis-based supply and demand planning solutions for global retail and supply chain organizations. Build scalable planning platforms that support complex implementations and deliver consistently high-quality hybrid delivery, while ensuring technology strategy is directly aligned with business objectives to drive measurable operational results.

Responsibilities

Architect end to end Kinaxis based planning solutions that address complex supply and demand planning needs for large retail and supply chain enterprises

Create reliable data and integration architectures that support planning inputs from enterprise resource planning systems and external partner platforms

Facilitate high level and detailed solution design workshops with client planners and operations stakeholders to convert business scenarios into Kinaxis configurations

Configure Kinaxis supply planning capabilities for inventory optimization replenishment planning and exception based management designed for retail network requirements

Configure Kinaxis demand planning capabilities to enable forecasting promotion planning and demand sensing, ensuring synchronization with business planning cycles

Establish modelling approaches that align Kinaxis fundamentals with client planning processes, including hierarchy design time fences and policy controls

Partner with business process experts in retail planning and supply chain management to align process design with system capabilities and constraints

Lead performance tuning and scalability enhancements to ensure Kinaxis solutions support large volumes of planning data and complex multi node supply networks

Manage hybrid delivery efforts by coordinating on site and remote teams to maintain consistent implementation quality and follow project timelines

Deliver governance for solution standards reusable components and reference architectures to promote consistency maintainability and future extensibility

Evaluate functional and technical design deliverables to confirm proposed solutions meet enterprise architecture principles and security requirements

Mentor project team members on Kinaxis best practices and planning domain concepts to ensure configuration and customizations remain sustainable and supportable

Work with client leadership to define value realization metrics and roadmaps that illustrate how planning transformations improve service levels and reduce costs

Lead defect triage and resolution of complex issues during testing and hypercare to sustain solution stability and planning confidence

Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to improve environment setup capacity planning and backup strategies for mission-critical planning applications

Maintain documentation of solution decisions design rationales and operating procedures to enable future enhancements and knowledge transfer across global teams

Qualifications

Possess extensive experience with Kinaxis supply planning, including configuration scenario modelling and deployment in large scale environments

Demonstrate strong expertise in Kinaxis demand planning, with hands on experience in forecast models statistical parameters and consensus planning workflows

Exhibit solid grounding in Kinaxis fundamentals, including data modeling planning engine concepts and administration of user roles and planning calendars

Apply deep domain experience in retail planning to develop solutions for assortment allocation replenishment and store level planning requirements

Utilize comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management to align technology solutions with sourcing manufacturing distribution and logistics processes

Communicate effectively in hybrid work settings by partnering with distributed stakeholders and teams while maintaining clear documentation and status updates

Adapt quickly to evolving client requirements and new Kinaxis features while preserving high standards for architecture integrity and delivery quality
