Job Overview:

• We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with a robust background in logistics to drive digital transformation, enhance product offerings, improve processes, and oversee application delivery initiatives for our logistics client.
• This position requires a professional adept at engaging with business stakeholders, comprehending intricate logistics workflows, translating business requirements into functional specifications, facilitating Agile delivery, and collaborating effectively with technology, UX, operations, testing, and client teams to produce solutions aligned with business objectives.

Primary Duties:

• Engage closely with business stakeholders across operations, customer service, sales, billing, procurement, and technology teams to gather and interpret business needs into well-defined functional requirements.
• Perform in-depth requirements gathering for logistics processes, including shipment booking, tendering, routing guides, spot bidding, order consolidation, multi-stop shipment creation, multi-commodity orders, pickup operations, account creation, and account updates.
• Possess knowledge of AI tools and techniques that aid in research, requirements discovery, and business analysis.
• Utilize AI to develop requirements artifacts such as user stories, process workflow diagrams, use cases, and comprehensive documentation.
• Demonstrate strong prompt engineering abilities to design impactful prompts that enhance productivity and improve analytical outcomes.
• Evaluate existing logistics workflows and design optimized future state business processes for transportation and supply chain systems.
• Create Business Requirement Documents, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use case documentation.
• Assist in backlog grooming, sprint planning, story clarification, UAT coordination, defect triage, and BA sign-off activities within Agile Scrum delivery settings.
• Work in tandem with UX/UI teams to develop functional prototypes and validate business scenarios with end users and client stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of logistics applications, transportation management systems, customer portals, pricing workflows, and shipment booking platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to identify process inefficiencies and suggest actionable business and operational improvements.
• Conduct demonstrations, walkthroughs, and training sessions for various user groups.
