Job Description

• Own product transfer and industrialization efforts, ensuring smooth transition from development to manufacturing.
• Lead product sustaining workstreams targeting quality, yield improvement, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Perform engineering assessments, root cause analyses, and complex troubleshooting across mechanical and fluidics systems.
• Apply statistical approaches, including DOE, FMEA, SPC, and data analytics, to enhance manufacturing processes and overall product performance.
• Contribute to design validation, reliability testing, system characterization, and engineering change management.
• Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and supplier stakeholders to secure successful product outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in technical problem-solving and engineering excellence.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, NPI, or product lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated expertise in mechanical design principles, GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMA, and reliability engineering.
• Experience supporting intricate systems including fluidics, electromechanical assemblies, or precision instruments.
• Practical knowledge of pumps, valves, sensors, manifolds, tubing, flow control systems, or other fluid handling technologies.
• Familiarity with engineering tools including CAD, PLM systems, Excel, Minitab, JMP, or comparable analytical software.
• Experience using structured problem-solving methods such as DOE, FMEA, SPC, 8D, or KT processes.
• Knowledge of regulated product development environments and engineering change control processes.
• Proven capability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders with data-driven recommendations.
• Experience in product characterization, verification testing, reliability evaluations, and manufacturing support activities.
