Senior IT Storage Engineer (ITS)

Position Overview:

• Serve as the Team Lead (TL) for corporate-level service delivery and development initiatives, spearheading the technical aspects of IT services in various business scenarios, including intricate system integrations of product families, operational maintenance (O&M), learning services, and the development of service solutions.
• Accountable for achieving delivery service goals, encompassing baselines, efficiency, cost management, quality, and overall competitiveness. Summarize cases and service requirements while mentoring and supporting junior employees to enhance their skill sets.
• Act as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Huawei enterprise IT products, providing post-sales support and conducting IT solution evaluations. Drive technical advancements, innovations, and the identification of critical issues within the IT technology service domain.
• Responsible for generating replicable successful outcomes for local offices, channel partners, and key account customers. Through effective architectural and solution design, elevate service efficiency and business quality within the professional domain, ensuring compliance with baseline and competitiveness standards, and achieving operational service targets. Propel the technical competitiveness of the professional domain to industry-leading standards.
• Collaborate effectively with regional, HQ, or local teams.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to fulfill assigned tasks.
• Exhibit the ability to professionally present technical solutions and conduct training sessions for local channel partners and customers.

Qualifications:

• Possess a tertiary qualification, preferably a B.Sc. in computer science, engineering, or telecommunications with distinction. Certifications such as Redhat RHCE or Huawei HCIA/HCIP/HCIE or equivalent IT certification are advantageous.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT product design, delivery, and maintenance (expertise in x86 servers, SAN/NAS storage, virtualization (VMware), Windows operating systems, and Linux/Unix systems). Leadership or management experience in a storage team is preferred.
• Experience in post-sales IT support is desirable.
• Key skills include knowledge of IT technologies such as x86 server architecture, SAN/NAS storage architecture, data protection, data center disaster recovery, and data migration.
• Strong internal and external communication skills with the ability to engage with customers at corresponding levels and influence their decision-making processes.
• Familiarity with OpenStack architecture and knowledge of Oracle or database systems would be beneficial.
• Demonstrated self-initiative in taking ownership of tasks and a willingness to learn new products and technologies.
• The ideal candidate should be adaptable and flexible regarding assigned tasks or job responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, both written and spoken, is essential for communication with native Mandarin-speaking colleagues, customers, and vendors.
