Cybersecurity Engineer

Position Overview:

Become a vital part of a 24/7 Security Operations team responsible for monitoring and analyzing security alerts, assisting in incident containment and recovery efforts, ensuring the health of security systems, troubleshooting log pipelines, and facilitating seamless operational transitions.

Primary Duties

. Continuously monitor security alerts, applications, and infrastructure for potential threats and irregularities.

. Execute incident response, remediation, and escalation following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

. Oversee security logs and batch processes while addressing operational challenges.

. Conduct security health assessments and assist with production changes and deployments.

. Guarantee efficient shift transitions and thorough incident documentation.

Qualifications:

. 1-3 years of experience in a security operations or cybersecurity support role.

. Knowledgeable about security products and network devices.

. Strong commitment to adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining precise incident documentation.

. Exceptional communication abilities to facilitate effective escalations, handovers, and collaboration with incident response and engineering teams.

. Openness to working in rotating shifts to support round-the-clock cybersecurity operations, ensuring continuous monitoring, incident response, threat detection, and safeguarding of critical business systems and data.
