Senior Engineer (Architectural Coordinator)

Overview:

Become a vital member of our innovative team as a Senior Engineer (Architectural Coordinator). In this key position, you will guide the architectural aspects of projects, ensuring they align seamlessly with both design and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the review and coordination of shop drawings and as-built documentation across multiple trades, including Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Specialist Subcontractors.
• Manage the comprehensive tendering process, which encompasses the preparation of tender documents and the organization of meetings with clients and consultants.
• Create clear and effective presentation materials for client briefings to support informed decision-making.
• Examine project specifications and shop drawings, providing essential technical clarifications as needed.
• Prepare and track the progress of shop drawing and sample schedules in conjunction with procurement timelines.
• Administer submissions and obtain approvals for shop drawings and samples from consultants.
• Ensure the proper management of both received and issued consultant drawings and shop drawings.
• Engage with stakeholders, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors throughout the construction phase.
• Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues that arise within the project team and with associated partners.
• Oversee issues related to claims and maintain systematic tracking of action items.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• A recognized Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Project Management, Mechanical & Electrical, or a comparable field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction or a related industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Revit/BIM software applicable to Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools such as SketchUp.
• Able to coordinate and verify architectural, M&E, and structural workshop drawings.
• Familiarity with architectural trades is essential.
