- Designing, developing, maintaining, and improving enterprise applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Oracle Database, and contemporary web technologies.
- Crafting, analyzing, and optimizing intricate Oracle SQL queries to bolster application performance, data processing, reporting, and overall system efficacy.
- Enhancing and maintaining complex legacy applications by evaluating existing code and architecture, while pinpointing opportunities for modernization, maintainability, and performance upgrades.
- Diagnosing, debugging, and resolving production issues across application, database, API, and integration layers, ensuring swift and effective resolutions.
- Interpreting business requirements and technical challenges, transforming them into scalable, maintainable, and dependable software solutions.
- Creating and sustaining Java/Spring Boot REST APIs, encompassing business logic, integrations, and services linked to Oracle Database.
- Developing and managing web application components using JavaScript and HTML, potentially incorporating front-end frameworks like React as dictated by the application architecture.
- Assisting and contributing to integrations with enterprise platforms and services, such as authentication/SSO and other third-party or internal systems.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of software development experience with a hands-on focus on Java and Oracle Database.
- Strong Oracle SQL proficiency with experience in writing, analyzing, and optimizing complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data-intensive operations.
- Extensive experience in developing Java applications and REST APIs utilizing Spring Boot, including business logic, service-layer development, and integration with Oracle Database.
- Solid understanding of Oracle Database and experience working with relational data models, database objects, and application-to-database integrations.
- Proven experience in diagnosing application issues, analyzing existing code, debugging production challenges, and implementing dependable solutions across multiple application layers.
- Familiarity with consuming and producing REST APIs, along with knowledge of API authentication patterns (OAuth2, JWT) and integration with third-party platforms.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including source control, code reviews, testing, deployment, and Agile (sprint-based) delivery methodologies.
- Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and branching strategies.
- Experience with legacy applications, focusing on modernization, reducing technical debt, and application maintenance is beneficial.
- Familiarity with React, NextJS, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience in Oracle APEX application development and maintenance.
- Proficient in PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, and complex queries for data management and reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of SSO/authentication technologies, such as Auth0 or similar identity platforms.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft or similar enterprise integration platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce development and enterprise integrations, including Salesforce APIs, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integration between Salesforce and backend services.
- Background in learning management, e-learning, or enterprise training platforms.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API gateway patterns.
- Experience working in an international Agile delivery team.
