Job Overview

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Execution of Data Workstreams & Delivery of Requirements

  • Oversee designated data workstream initiatives and collaborate with the Core Team to ensure that Salesforce data requirements are comprehended, prioritized, fulfilled, validated, and documented
  • Convert business process demands into explicit data requirements, field definitions, validation criteria, migration guidelines, and acceptance standards
  • Assist with data migration, cleansing, enrichment, deduplication, validation, and cutover readiness tasks throughout implementation phases
  • Manage data issue triage, conduct root-cause analysis, assign ownership, track remediation, and report closure
  • Keep up-to-date data dictionaries, field inventories, decision logs, standards documentation, and stewardship records for assigned domains

Governance, Standards & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure that the assigned Salesforce data complies with data quality, data security, data compliance, and global reporting standards
  • Act as the decision-maker for changes to data models, fields, and definitions that influence global standards, reporting definitions, integrations, or cross-Business Group consistency
  • Establish and uphold data standards, naming conventions, field governance rules, required values, ownership guidelines, and quality thresholds
  • Track data quality metrics, identify persistent issues, and drive remediation efforts with business owners, technical teams, and Data Cloud Hygiene leadership

Collaboration, Integration & Operational Support

  • Work alongside Integration leads to confirm data flow integrity, transformation rules, source-of-truth decisions, and downstream reporting implications
  • Collaborate with the Data Cloud Hygiene Manager on compliance reporting, audit assistance, data retention considerations, masking requirements, and quality enhancement initiatives
  • Support business readiness by clarifying standards, training users, documenting expectations, and reinforcing stewardship practices
  • Escalate unresolved data discrepancies, quality risks, or standards exceptions through the appropriate governance channels

Your Profile:

You excel at managing intricate data tasks by translating standards, definitions, and requirements into repeatable execution (Plans and Aligns; Ensures Accountability). You possess a keen eye for detail while maintaining an understanding of the larger business context, recognizing how a field definition, duplicate record, or data model modification may influence reporting, integration, security, and user adoption (Manages Complexity; Decision Quality). You effectively collaborate with business users and technical teams, articulate requirements clearly, and help resolve data conflicts in a constructive, standards-based manner (Collaborates; Communicates Effectively; Interpersonal Savvy). Your commitment to enhancing data quality stems from your belief that reliable data is essential for Northstar's success (Drives Results).

  • Experience with data quality tools, data profiling, duplicate management, monitoring, issue tracking, and remediation workflows
  • Knowledge of data migration and ETL concepts, including mapping, transformation, cleansing, enrichment, validation, and cutover support
  • Understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud fundamentals and how stewardship decisions influence identity resolution, segmentation, reporting, and AI readiness
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, reporting, or analytical tools for data profiling, quality issue investigation, and validation of remediation
  • Awareness of data privacy, security, compliance, access control, and audit support principles

Interpersonal and Leadership Capabilities:

  • Strong analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to documenting decisions and standards
  • Collaborative mindset across business and technical teams, with the ability to communicate data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Conflict resolution abilities when discrepancies arise in data standards, field definitions, or ownership expectations among teams
  • Process-oriented mindset with a commitment to following through on issue remediation, migration readiness, and quality improvement measures
  • Comfort in clearly and constructively escalating risks through governance channels when standards or delivery outcomes are jeopardized

Certifications Required:

  • Salesforce Data Cloud certification mandatory
  • Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, data quality, MDM, analytics, or business analysis certifications are preferred

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data management, data stewardship, data quality, business analysis, data migration, or enterprise systems roles
  • Familiarity with Salesforce data models, field governance, data migration, data quality controls, or CRM data operations
  • Ability to articulate clear data standards, definitions, rules, requirements, and issue-resolution processes
