Security Operation Center Engineer

We are looking for a SOC Engineer to play a crucial role in identifying and addressing cyber threats, improving our security frameworks, and enhancing our overall defense strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and execute threat hunting and cyber intelligence frameworks.
• Carry out proactive threat-hunting initiatives and examine suspicious activities.
• Stay informed about emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and hacking methods.
• Leverage SIEM, EDR, network analysis, and threat intelligence tools.
• Collaborate with SOC, incident response, and security operations teams.
• Create and refine security monitoring rules and detection signatures.
• Produce concise, actionable reports and threat assessments for stakeholders.

Requirements & Skills:

• Familiarity with application security, network security, and cyber threats.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform under pressure.
• Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for documentation purposes.
• Background in using security tools (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management).
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP are advantageous.
• Availability to work outside standard business hours, including weekends.
