Scientist - Chemistry (Pharma MNC)

The Opportunity

• Adecco is collaborating with a Pharma MNC to hire a Scientist (Chemistry, Pharma MNC).
• Deliver laboratory and technical support for MS&T initiatives, covering technology transfer, process optimization, investigations, equipment qualification, and continuous improvement, while ensuring adherence to GxP, SOPs, and safety requirements.
• This role begins as a contract position.

The Talent

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biologics, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant laboratory or manufacturing experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with laboratory operations, technical tools, and safe chemical handling practices.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Job Description

• Carry out laboratory experiments and studies in line with approved protocols and procedures.
• Support upstream, downstream, analytical, and pilot-scale laboratory activities.
• Conduct investigative testing to support deviation investigations and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain laboratory instructions, and assess new equipment and technologies.
• Assist with laboratory equipment qualification, maintenance, change control, and associated documentation.
• Oversee laboratory supplies, including chemical and consumable purchasing and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with GxP requirements, SOPs, HSE standards, and internal company guidelines.
• Keep detailed laboratory records and ensure correct documentation practices, including storage and archiving.
