Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Functional Lead with strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), SAP Quality Management (QM), and SAP PP-PI. In this role, you will drive functional design, configuration, integration, and optimization of SAP applications for complex manufacturing operations—enhancing warehouse performance, production quality, inventory accuracy, and end-to-end process alignment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions supporting manufacturing warehouse operations.
2. Improve and optimize inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse movements, inventory accuracy, and overall material flow.
3. Oversee SAP EWM integration with ERP and related modules to enable dependable data exchange and accurate transaction processing.
4. Configure and support SAP QM quality notifications, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution workflow activities.
5. Design and maintain production inspection procedures, including inspection plans, characteristics, recording results, and determining usage decisions.
6. Maintain SAP QM master data, including inspection catalogs, codes, inspection methods, and related configuration settings.
7. Partner with SAP PP-PI teams to align process orders, recipes, batch management, and manufacturing instructions with warehouse and quality requirements.
8. Ensure complete end-to-end traceability from raw material receipt through production to finished goods.
9. Drive functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing across EWM, QM, and PP-PI business scenarios.
10. Diagnose and resolve functional issues, manage incidents and change requests, and implement long-term solutions.
11. Create functional specifications, configuration documentation, process flows, and user procedures.
12. Coordinate with technical teams on enhancements, reports, and interfaces to deliver scalable SAP solutions.
13. Proactively identify improvement opportunities for warehouse efficiency, quality performance, and manufacturing processes.
14. Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support successful implementation and ongoing operations.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM and SAP QM.
• Practical experience with SAP QM quality notifications and production inspection processes.
• Good understanding of SAP QM master data and configuration.
• Experience integrating SAP EWM with SAP PP-PI and related manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of batch management, process orders, and recipe management.
• Experience in process or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications

SAP EWM certification preferred. SAP QM or SAP Production Planning certification relevant to manufacturing solutions is an added advantage.
