Sales Manager Project/Contract Logistics
Job Description
Our client is enhancing its Commercial Team and is in search of a motivated and commercially savvy Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and nurturing existing accounts.
We are looking to fill positions in two distinct areas: Project Logistics and Contract Logistics, which encompasses freight forwarding. This role is hands-on and primarily focused on new business development, ideal for an individual who can establish a robust sales pipeline, convert prospects, and collaborate closely with operations to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new customers, pinpoint opportunities, and explore growth avenues.
Foster trusted relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction.
Craft proposals, address inquiries, and guide opportunities through to successful closure.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure solutions align with client requirements.
Contribute to sales strategy development and share pertinent market and customer insights.
Monitor sales activities, report on outcomes, and facilitate timely customer payments.
Engage in operational aspects as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably in freight forwarding; experience in Oil & Gas is a plus.
Demonstrated sales success with confidence in prospecting, presenting, and closing deals.
Exceptional communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented approach with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A practical, hands-on attitude and a desire to grow alongside the business.
