Performance Testing

We are seeking an experienced Performance Engineer with deep expertise in Apache JMeter and Dynatrace to lead end-to-end performance engineering efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for creating sophisticated performance test scripts, running large-scale testing, performing application performance analysis, uncovering performance bottlenecks, and proposing effective optimization recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect performance requirements and define performance testing strategies and plans.
• Develop, enhance, and customize JMeter scripts using advanced scripting techniques.
• Create workload models and production-like test scenarios.
• Run load, stress, volume, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Conduct deep-dive application performance monitoring and analysis with Dynatrace.
• Detect performance bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Evaluate test outcomes including response times, throughput, resource utilization, and error rates.
• Carry out root cause analysis and recommend performance tuning and optimization actions.
• Confirm applications meet the defined Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
• Apply knowledge of system architecture and technology stacks to ensure complete performance coverage.
• Partner with developers, architects, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Produce performance test reports, summarize findings, and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Promote ongoing improvements to application stability, scalability, and reliability.

Experience Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter script development and execution.
• Extensive practical experience in Dynatrace monitoring and performance analysis.
• Experience in identifying and resolving application, database and infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Good understanding of application architecture, NFRs and performance optimization.
