Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Package Specialist: SAP HANA Application Security, you will design, implement, and manage SAP HANA application security solutions to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of SAP HANA-based applications. You will partner with business stakeholders, security teams, and other IT groups to ensure SAP HANA application security integrates smoothly with other SAP systems and third-party applications.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Implement SAP Security Solutions: Configure and tailor SAP security settings to align with client requirements, and implement role-based access control (RBAC) and segregation of duties (SoD) across SAP systems.
• Conduct Security Audits: Perform security audits and risk assessments to uncover vulnerabilities and propose remediation actions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with Clients: Work with clients to identify their security requirements and translate them into practical solutions, and provide training and ongoing support on SAP security best practices and tools.
• Maintain Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation and a knowledge base, and remain current on new features and releases within SAP security modules.
• Stay Current with SAP HANA Security: Keep abreast of the latest SAP HANA security capabilities, industry trends, and best practices.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to SAP HANA Application Security: Experience with SAP HANA security solutions, including configuration, customization, and implementation of role-based access control (RBAC) and segregation of duties (SoD).
• Knowledge of Security Principles: Understanding of security principles and best practices, including security audits, risk assessments, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Experience with SAP Systems: Exposure to SAP systems, including integration with other SAP systems and third-party applications.
• Understanding of Security Policies: Familiarity with designing and implementing SAP security policies and procedures.
• Technical Documentation Skills: Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge bases related to SAP security solutions.

• SAP Security Module Knowledge: Exposure to new features and releases of SAP security modules, including configuration and customization of SAP security settings.
• Industry Standards Compliance: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR, ensuring compliance in SAP HANA application security solutions.
• SAP System Integration: Experience integrating SAP HANA application security with other SAP systems and third-party applications to ensure smooth end-to-end functionality.
