OCI Admin + Network security

Job Description:

• We are looking for a Senior OCI Administrator with extensive knowledge in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Networking and Security.
• The successful applicant will take charge of designing, implementing, securing, and overseeing enterprise OCI environments, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, high availability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administration of OCI Infrastructure
• Oversee OCI Compute, Storage, Backup, Load Balancers, DNS, and Platform Services
• Provision and sustain OCI environments across development, testing, and production stages
• Assist in cloud infrastructure lifecycle management, capacity planning, and resource optimization
• Establish high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Mandatory OCI Networking
• Design and manage OCI Networking elements, including VCNs, Subnets, DRG, Route Tables, Security Lists, and Network Security Groups (NSGs)
• Set up and maintain Site-to-Site VPN, FastConnect, Load Balancers, DNS, and Hybrid Cloud Connectivity
• Diagnose network performance issues, routing, latency, and connectivity challenges
• Implement best practices for network segmentation and security architecture
• Mandatory OCI Security
• Administer OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) including Users, Groups, Dynamic Groups, Compartments, and Policies
• Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Federation
• Configure and manage Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Bastion Services, Vault Key Management, and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance evaluations
• Support auditing requirements and initiatives related to cloud security governance
• Monitoring Operations
• Configure OCI Monitoring, Logging, Logging Analytics, Alarms, Notifications, and Operations Insights
• Establish proactive monitoring and alerting for essential infrastructure services
• Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance
• Maintain operational dashboards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and cloud runbooks
• Automation in Cloud Operations
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager
• Develop automation for operations using Shell, Python, and Ansible
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps initiatives
• Automate patching, backup validation, monitoring, and routine administrative tasks
