SAP FICO Solution Architect

Job Overview:

• Seeking an SAP FICO R2R professional with experience in the Pharmaceutical sector
• The selected candidate will assume the role of a senior Functional Solution Architect within extensive SAP transformation initiatives
• Candidates must demonstrate robust domain expertise in Finance, ideally within the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical fields, along with substantial hands-on experience in the S/4HANA SAP FICO module

Primary Duties:

• Lead the solution architecture efforts through various phases, from identifying issues to designing and deploying solutions in significant S/4HANA transformation projects
• Develop comprehensive design, architecture, and process documentation while implementing the solution and deployment strategy
• Engage with high-level client business and IT stakeholders, showcasing thought leadership in domain processes and technologies
• Support Unit and Organizational initiatives as well as Centers of Excellence (COEs)

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 15 years of pertinent SAP experience, specifically in SAP FICO, with a degree or postgraduate qualification in ICWA or CA
• Functional and technical process expertise
• Extensive practical knowledge of the S/4HANA FICO module
• Solid grasp of Financial Accounting processes, along with familiarity with various P2P, O2C, and M2D process scenarios, including taxation procedures, relevant accounting treatments, and statutory compliance in accordance with applicable Accounting Principles
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile and Activate methodologies
• Good insight into business processes specific to the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors
• Experience leading at least two end-to-end S/4HANA implementation projects as a Lead Functional Solution Architect
• In-depth knowledge and proficiency in Finance BPML, with the capability to guide clients towards Industry Best Practices
• Proven experience in conducting Business Process workshops and Fit-GAP analyses
