SAP Datasphere Consultant

Job Overview:

• In your role within the Infosys consulting team, you will primarily focus on leading efforts to deliver high-quality, value-driven consulting services to clients, guiding them through various phases including problem identification, diagnosis, solution design, development, and deployment.
• Your responsibilities will include reviewing proposals crafted by consultants, offering guidance, and evaluating the solutions devised for client business challenges to pinpoint any potential risks and concerns.
• You will assess Change Management needs and recommend a structured strategy for clients to manage transitions, utilizing various communication methods.
• Additionally, you will mentor your team, develop a vision, provide subject matter training in your areas of expertise, and motivate team members through timely feedback and recognition to encourage high performance.
• You will play a vital role in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added consulting solutions while adhering to organizational guidelines and processes.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data models utilizing SAP Datasphere
• Integrate data from both SAP and non-SAP sources, including S/4HANA, BW, ECC, HANA, and third-party systems
• Create semantic layers, views, and data products in Datasphere
• Work closely with functional and business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements
• Support data provisioning, data flows, and transformation processes
• Ensure adherence to data quality, performance, and governance standards
• Coordinate with analytics tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Diagnose and resolve data and performance-related issues

Technical Qualifications:

• 9 years of experience with SAP Datasphere or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP architecture
• Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and ETL methodologies
• Familiarity with SAP HANA CDS views and BW concepts
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud is advantageous
• Knowledge of data integration tools and APIs
• Solid grasp of data security and access control measures

Additional Qualifications:

• Possess strong leadership, presentation, and communication abilities
• Capable of working effectively within an onshore-offshore delivery model
• Adept at managing client escalations
• Experience in project delivery and team management is essential
• Strong troubleshooting skills are required
