SAP Solution Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience the daily role of an Infoscion
• In your capacity as a member of the Infosys consulting team, your main responsibility will be to delve into customer challenges, identify problem areas, devise innovative solutions, and support implementation, all aiming for client satisfaction.
• You will take ownership of sections within the proposal document and contribute insights in solution design, leveraging your areas of expertise to develop a comprehensive proposal.
• Your tasks will include planning configuration activities, configuring the product in alignment with the design, conducting conference room pilots, and assisting in clarifying any queries regarding requirements and solution design.
• You will facilitate product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (POC) workshops, and prepare effort estimates that align with customer budget constraints while adhering to the organization's financial policies.
• Lead small-scale projects and actively participate in unit-level and organizational initiatives, all aimed at delivering high-quality, value-adding solutions to our clientele.

Technical Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in Solution Management
• Configuration of Solution Manager Road Maps
• System Preparation, including managed system configuration, technical monitoring, and business process monitoring
• Experience with the implementation of CHARM
• EWA Configuration proficiency
• Installation of Wily Introscope
• Configuration of SAP Alerting and Monitoring in Solution Manager 7
• Upgrading Solution Manager from SP09 to SP12
• Resolving production issues in Solution Documentation, Test Suite, and BPCA
• Preparation of the release calendar for upcoming years and facilitation of CAB meetings to approve change requests for production post-release
• Monitoring and troubleshooting background jobs, including checking and resolving dependencies on each CHARM document
• Deploying approved transport requests into production during weekly and monthly release windows
• Preparing user guides and manuals

• Ability to evaluate current processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend technology solutions
• Knowledge of one or two industry domains
