Python Test engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks utilizing Python
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web APIs and backend systems
• Develop reusable automation components and utilities
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases
• Identify, log, track, and verify software defects
• Automate API testing along with backend validation processes
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Generate test reports and offer quality metrics to stakeholders
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps teams, business analysts, and QA teams
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to ongoing quality enhancement

• Technology: Automated Testing, Selenium, Python

• Proficient programming experience in Python
• Hands-on experience with Python automation frameworks such as
• PyTest
• Unittest
• Robot Framework
• Behave BDD
• Experience in Web Automation Testing using
• Selenium WebDriver
• Playwright (Preferred)
• Experience in API Automation Testing using
• Requests Library
• PyTest
• Postman
• REST Assured concepts
• Familiarity with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle
• Experience with test design techniques and automation best practices
• Strong understanding of
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• End-to-End Testing
• Experience with Git-based version control systems
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation
