Network Engineer

Job Opportunity

• Oversee incident and change management related to network operations
• Handle the commissioning, decommissioning, and technology refresh of network devices
• Assist in collaborative problem-solving efforts
• Ensure the seamless execution of network operations in line with established Service Level Agreements
• Implement firmware updates for network devices
• Verify compliance of network infrastructure with security policies
• Prepare and manage assets to guarantee availability and update capacity reports
• Revise and maintain process and procedural documentation
• Perform any additional ad-hoc tasks as necessary or assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business IT, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in administration and implementation

Strong knowledge in the following areas, but not limited to:

• Firewall technologies (including high availability and virtual firewall concepts)
• IP load balancing
• Core and distribution switching
• Router configuration (high availability)
• LAN and WAN management
• Comprehensive understanding of the services business within a high-tech environment from the perspectives of suppliers, integrators, or operators
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for providing quick resolutions
• Proficient troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently
