Mobile Engineer

As a Mobile Engineer, you will play a vital role throughout the mobile application development lifecycle, encompassing technical design, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and sustain features for iOS and Android applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI for iOS, alongside Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android. Create shared business logic and reusable components using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Design modular, reusable, and maintainable mobile components.
• Connect applications with backend services, smart devices, authentication systems, analytics, notifications, and remote configuration.
• Engage in technical design, architecture discussions, and the establishment of mobile engineering standards.
• Enhance application performance, accessibility, reliability, maintainability, and testability.
• Construct and uphold unit, integration, snapshot, and UI tests.
• Analyze crashes, performance concerns, memory issues, and production anomalies.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning sessions, technical discussions, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to engineering documentation, development protocols, and reusable technical frameworks.
• Boost engineering productivity through automation and enhanced tooling.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in developing native mobile applications.
• Proficient in either Swift and SwiftUI for iOS or Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android development.
• Familiarity with structured concurrency, asynchronous programming, and management of application lifecycles.
• Experience with mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, unidirectional data flow, or modular architecture.
• Skilled in integrating REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, analytics, notifications, and remote services.
• Strong background in automated testing, continuous integration, and CI/CD practices.
• Proficient with Git, including pull requests and code review processes.
• Adept at troubleshooting intricate application, performance, and production challenges.
• Experience utilizing GitHub for source control, managing pull requests, conducting code reviews, implementing CI/CD workflows, and leveraging GitHub Issues for task management.
• Comfortable collaborating with designers using Figma to interpret designs and deliver precise user interfaces.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
