Location: Singapore – Client Site

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Support Model: 24x7 Rotating Shifts

Project: NTT Singapore – Large-Scale Banking Infrastructure Project

NTT Singapore is seeking skilled Microsoft Hyper-V Infrastructure Engineers (L2/L3) to provide support for a large-scale, mission-critical banking infrastructure in Singapore.

This position is a hands-on production infrastructure role that primarily emphasizes Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server. We are in search of engineers with substantial experience in administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting Hyper-V environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver L2/L3 production support for Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server infrastructure.

• Administer and troubleshoot Hyper-V hosts, virtual machines, and Failover Clusters.

• Oversee VM provisioning, configuration, migration, decommissioning, and resource alterations.

• Execute and troubleshoot Hyper-V Live Migration processes.

• Manage Hyper-V environments utilizing SCVMM / Microsoft System Center where necessary.

• Conduct patching, upgrades, and maintenance for Hyper-V hosts and VMs.

• Resolve issues related to clusters, storage, networking, VM availability, performance, and capacity.

• Carry out Windows Server administration, including patching, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation.

• Address incidents, problems, service requests, and infrastructure changes in line with operational SLAs.

• Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and remediation for recurring or significant incidents.

• Utilize PowerShell for infrastructure management, troubleshooting, and automation.

• Monitor the health, capacity, performance, and availability of the infrastructure.

• Engage in Disaster Recovery exercises, failover/recovery activities, and operational readiness testing.

• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and infrastructure records.

• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, application, network, storage, and security teams to resolve production issues.

Mandatory Technical Experience

Candidates must possess robust hands-on experience in:

• Microsoft Hyper-V production administration

• Windows Server administration

• Hyper-V Failover Clustering

• VM provisioning and lifecycle management

• Troubleshooting Hyper-V hosts and VMs

• Patching and upgrading servers/hosts

• PowerShell

• Incident, Problem, and Change Management

• L2/L3 infrastructure support

Experience with the following is highly desirable:

• SCVMM / Microsoft System Center

• Live Migration

• Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV) and quorum

• Troubleshooting Hyper-V clusters

• Vulnerability remediation and server hardening

• Capacity and performance management

• Disaster Recovery and failover exercises

• Experience in large-scale enterprise or banking infrastructure environments

Important

This role requires direct hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V.

Candidates whose primary expertise lies in VMware, cloud technologies, backup/storage, or networking with minimal exposure to Hyper-V may not qualify for this position.

• 100% onsite at the client location in Singapore
