Assistant Manager/Manager - Mechanical

Become a vital member of our team as an Assistant Manager or Manager within the Mechanical division, where your engineering acumen and leadership abilities will significantly contribute to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills on-site and collaborate effectively with clients. Utilize your engineering expertise, particularly in design and ensuring adherence to applicable building service codes. Guarantee the quality of materials and installations sourced from suppliers and subcontractors in accordance with ISO quality standards. Oversee and assess the quality of materials from suppliers and the installations performed by subcontractors. Create and manage shop drawings along with corresponding coordination documentation. Develop work schedules and engage in both client and internal meetings. Assist in managing daily operations in line with master planning schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. Facilitate coordination with primary contractors to reduce the risk of rework. Administer site materials and equipment to minimize waste. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to avert delivery delays and ensure project progress. Inspect for nonconformities to prevent defects in products or installations. Research new technologies and installation techniques to boost productivity. Monitor progress on-site while maintaining effective communication with subcontractors and suppliers. Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 3 to 5 years of pertinent managerial experience in an M&E subcontractor setting, along with a total of over 8 years of experience in the M&E engineering industry. Familiarity with ISO 9000 and OHSAS 18000 standards. Certified as an ISO Internal Quality Auditor. Completion of the Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course.
