Manufacturing Engineer

Project Management

• Develop comprehensive project timelines and ensure that all designated tasks are executed within the established deadlines.
• Draft and review project-related documentation, including progress updates, proposals, requirements specifications, and presentations.
• Coordinate communication among external suppliers, contractors/sub-contractors, and the project team to facilitate efficient project execution, including training for production teams.
• Collaborate with external vendors and professionals to address project requirements and provide technical specifications to the team.

Facility Management

• Maintain factory facilities to uphold exceptional standards of cleanliness, functionality, and security.

Equipment Management

• Implement initiatives to improve mean time to repair (MTTR) and oversee all machinery and equipment breakdown incidents, ensuring prompt repairs.
• Guarantee that all equipment receives regular maintenance as per the established schedule.
• Keep daily Maintenance Job Order records updated for management assessment.
• Maintain a precise and current service logbook for all machines and equipment.
• Assist in new product development by creating machine-handling standard operating procedures (SOPs) and facilitating a seamless Go-Live process.
• Manage the installation, commissioning, testing, and launch of new equipment for operational readiness.

People Management

• Ensure compliance with factory operational procedures, processes, and quality standards, adhering to food safety regulations and statutory laws by all team members.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and safety regulations.
• Ideally possess 1–3 years of engineering experience with manufacturing machinery (experience in the food manufacturing sector is a plus).
• Proficient in Excel and CAD software (AutoCAD & Inventor preferred).
