Maintenance Supervisor - Mechanical (Oleochemical Industry)

• Performing thorough maintenance on plant operations, including both breakdown and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assessing and delegating work requests, responsibilities, and schedules for workshop personnel, encompassing both mechanical and electrical teams.
• Overseeing the spare parts inventory for essential equipment.
• Verifying that procured parts adhere to approved specifications in alignment with plant needs.
• Supporting engineers and managers in crafting effective plant shutdown strategies while guiding maintenance teams through troubleshooting processes.
• Ensuring that all plant utilities comply with applicable legal standards.
• Upholding a safe working atmosphere by following safety protocols.
• Demonstrating knowledge of and compliance with the company's Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Food Safety policies.
• Executing and sustaining the organization's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) and Food Safety management systems, ensuring alignment with standard requirements.
• Implementing the stipulations of the energy management system.
• Collaborating and adhering to additional tasks or directives from supervisors concerning plant maintenance.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualification – Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• At least five (5) years of experience in a related field.
• Preferred background in the Oleochemical industry
• Knowledge or experience in QHSE and Food Safety is an advantage.
• Must be available to work in Pasir Gudang with a 5.5-day workweek.
