Lead Engineer - I_AWS Python Full Stack

Job Summary

We’re hiring a Software Engineer with proven Python and AWS expertise to build scalable APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven integrations. This position includes API engineering, distributed systems development, production troubleshooting, and implementing AI-enabled automation.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python and production software development.
• Working knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, EKS, S3, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Experience developing REST APIs and understanding authentication/authorization using OAuth2 and JWT.
• Understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, retries, idempotency, and error handling.
• Experience with Git, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, and traces.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python services and APIs on AWS.
• Build event-driven integrations using messaging and streaming technologies.
• Implement secure, scalable API integrations.
• Develop AI-driven automation for API and customer onboarding.
• Enhance system monitoring, logging, tracing, and troubleshooting.
• Support automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployment.
• Partner with engineering and product teams across geographies.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS EventBridge.
• AWS CDK, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
• Generative AI, AI agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Healthcare standards such as FHIR and HIPAA.
• API management and developer portal experience.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and learn new technologies quickly.
