Technology analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and uphold backend functionalities in Salesforce Commerce Cloud Demandware.
• Customize and enhance SFCC cartridges, controllers, middleware, and business logic.
• Oversee and implement integrations with third-party systems, including ERP, OMS, CRM, payment gateways, tax, and shipping providers.
• Create and utilize REST APIs, OCAPI, SCAPI, and web services.
• Configure and manage catalogs, promotions, customer groups, inventory, and pricing through Business Manager.
• Establish and schedule jobs for data imports, exports, and batch processing.
• Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance eCommerce applications.
• Diagnose production issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Engage in code reviews, deployments, and release management tasks.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.
• Required Skills
• Proven hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Demandware backend development.
• Expertise in SFRA architecture, cartridge development, and backend customization.
• Strong command of JavaScript, Server-Side JS, and Node.js concepts.
• Experience with controllers, middleware, ISML, pipelines, legacy jobs, and custom objects.
• Practical experience with OCAPI, SCAPI, REST APIs, and web services.
• In-depth knowledge of Business Manager administration and configuration.
• Experience integrating with payment gateways like Adyen, PayPal, Stripe, Cybersource, and Authorize.Net.
• Solid understanding of order management, inventory management, customer management, and checkout workflows.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Preferred Skills
• Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Developer Certification.
• Experience with Headless Commerce, PWA Kit, and Composable Commerce architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of the migration process from SiteGenesis to SFRA.
• Experience with multi-site and multi-brand SFCC implementations.
