Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support Application Technologists in the development of prototypes, project tasks, and formula compounding. Oversee the laboratory inventory of flavors and raw materials, ensuring efficient stock rotation and timely resupply. Systematize the seasoning and flavor library along with the food service library for optimal accessibility and management. Guarantee the consistent availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and laboratory consumables. Uphold cleanliness and organization within the laboratory to ensure a safe working environment. Execute shelf-life and stability testing to aid in product development and quality assurance initiatives. Facilitate the safe disposal of chemical waste and glassware in compliance with safety regulations. Assist in the packing, shipping, and documentation of trial samples for precise and prompt delivery. Prepare applications for quality control testing, sampling, and evaluation procedures. Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to raw materials and finished goods. Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and safe for operational use.
Qualifications
- ITE or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, or a relevant discipline. Familiarity with the flavor industry is a plus. Demonstrated capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a diverse, cross-functional team. Detail-oriented, proactive, and possessing a positive, professional demeanor.
