Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications utilizing Core Java and J2EE technologies.
• Employ application servers such as Tomcat/Weblogic along with relevant web servers.
• Implement Design Patterns and develop microservices.
• Work with Spring and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) concepts, specifically Hibernate or iBatis.
• Write SQL queries for Oracle databases.
• Develop XML and Web Services.
• Create RESTful web services.
• Engage in UI development using JSP and Servlets.
• Utilize build tools such as ANT/MAVEN and version control systems like GIT.
• Analyze business and functional requirements to produce detailed design documentation.
• Implement code quality assurance tools and Unit Testing Frameworks.
  
  

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Kafka applications, EKS/EC2, Glue Jobs, with a plus for Lucene/Elastic Search skills
• Expertise in automation and continuous delivery methodologies
• Comprehensive understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Proven proficiency in software applications and technical processes across various technical disciplines (e.g., cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile technologies, etc.)
• Thorough understanding of the financial services sector and associated IT systems
• Practical experience with cloud-native solutions
