IT Senior Engineer (Semiconductor Industry)

Primary Duties:

• Oversee the internal network and communication systems, including VPN, wireless access points, and firewalls.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot various hardware and software components such as PCs, printers, and projectors.
• Manage video conferencing systems and web-based communication platforms.
• Administer essential network services including VPN, DHCP, IP routing, and internet access permissions.
• Establish and manage employee email accounts along with access controls.
• Provide support for legacy systems related to telephony, access control, and surveillance.
• Conduct system updates, implement cybersecurity measures, and ensure virus protection.
• Inspect IT facilities and oversee the management of IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with various departments and vendors on IT projects and maintenance activities.
• Assist management with IT-related business and compliance issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in IT support or network administration.
• Fluency in Mandarin, with excellent written and verbal communication skills (to effectively interact with management in China).
• Willingness to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
