Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are on the lookout for a proficient IBM FileNet Developer Administrator with 5 to 9 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions.
- The successful applicant will demonstrate significant capabilities in IBM FileNet P8 administration and development, complemented by practical experience in Java.
- Expertise in .NET development, REST API services, containerized deployments, and database management is also required.
- This position entails delivering robust document management solutions, overseeing FileNet environments, and contributing to contemporary AI-enabled enterprise systems.
Core Responsibilities:
- IBM FileNet Administration
- Oversee and sustain IBM FileNet P8 Content Platform Engine (CPE) environments.
- Manage configurations for FileNet Content Manager, including object stores, document classes, storage areas, and security parameters.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, and resolve platform-related issues.
- Execute upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, and provide environment support.
- Development and Integration
- Design, develop, and maintain applications utilizing Java or
- .NET technologies.
- Create, enhance, and support RESTful APIs and services for enterprise integration.
- Establish and maintain integrations between FileNet and external business systems.
- Support modern application development methodologies, including API-first architecture and service-oriented design.
- Containerization and Platform Engineering
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy workloads on Kubernetes or OpenShift platforms.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure secure and scalable deployments.
- Assist in CI/CD and deployment automation efforts.
- Database and AI Ecosystem Support
- Manage and support IBM DB2 within the FileNet ecosystem and/or PostgreSQL databases.
- Work with both structured and unstructured enterprise content repositories.
- Contribute to initiatives related to Vector Databases, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-driven document processing solutions.
- Engage in architectural discussions and technical solution design activities.
