Our client, a prominent international financial institution, is in search of a seasoned Treasury professional to lead its Treasury and Asset Liability Management operations in Singapore. This senior-level role encompasses extensive responsibilities across liquidity, funding, financial markets, treasury risk, and team leadership.

Job Description

• Direct the Treasury and ALM operations, focusing on liquidity management, funding strategies, balance-sheet oversight, financial market activities, and treasury risk management.
• Supervise and mentor treasury dealers while managing dealing activities, positions, and transactions within established limits and controls.
• Evaluate liquidity standings, market changes, and treasury performance, offering strategic guidance to senior management and the Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO).
• Ensure Treasury operations adhere to relevant regulatory standards, internal policies, and established risk management frameworks.
• Foster strong connections with financial institutions, regulators, and market players to support business growth and enhance market presence.

The Successful Applicant

• A minimum of 15 years of pertinent experience in banking treasury, financial markets, liquidity management, and asset liability management.
• Comprehensive understanding of treasury products, funding mechanisms, balance-sheet management, liquidity, and treasury risk.
• Demonstrated success in leading Treasury teams, overseeing dealers, and nurturing team talent.
• Significant exposure to ALCO and senior management, with experience in providing treasury analysis and strategic insights.
• Exceptional stakeholder management abilities with well-established relationships among financial institutions, regulators, and market participants.
