Job Overview

• Engage in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team to fulfill all necessary tasks for delivering relevant products, services, processes, and systems.
• Oversee product portfolio management and control, including the implementation and ongoing enhancement of one or more products, services, processes, and/or systems throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Formulate and execute digital strategies, ensuring the foundational infrastructure of products, services, processes, and systems, while consistently integrating innovative technologies and expanding the utilization of digital channels.
• Continuously refine uniform and efficient process-organizational concepts.
• Develop, enhance, and transfer both technical and process-related knowledge, as well as IT-related expertise regarding the subject matter under your responsibility.
• Apply and evolve the necessary competencies for constructing new, forward-looking digital architectures.
• Design and implement agile quality assurance and risk management frameworks.
• Conduct analyses and develop concepts based on market trends and competitive insights.
• Manage pricing strategies and benchmarking activities.
• Oversee customer and interface management, including requirements analysis, consulting, and support for central functions and clusters related to your areas of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, particularly concerning regulatory, reporting, compliance, and audit matters, leveraging best practices.
• Manage the operation and maintenance of infrastructure while providing robust support for relevant systems, data upkeep, reporting, and authorization management.
• Adhere to security standards to guarantee stable operation concerning products, services, processes, and systems.
• When enhancing products, services, processes, and/or systems, consider IT accessibility and software ergonomics in alignment with the objectives of the Commerzbank Inclusion Action Plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the deployment of all RHEL application servers in a production environment based on established processes.
• Proactively maintain and update productive systems.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the IT systems you are responsible for.
• Analyze and resolve incidents and issues (such as cancellations, cross-country skiers, vulnerabilities, etc.).
• Implement changes and releases within your area of responsibility.
• Document the systems utilized (Asset Database Comin).
• Provide technical support for production operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and expected RHCA knowledge level.
• General understanding of Cloud Technologies (RHEL on Azure, GCP, and Google BMS).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies, specifically VMware.
• Proficient in Python, Git, CI/CD tools (such as TeamCity, Jenkins), and programming vendor APIs like Red Hat Satellite API, Azure, GCP, or VMware APIs.
• Solid knowledge of Red Hat Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform, SALT, or Puppet.
• Ability to deploy all RHEL application servers based on defined procedures.
• Address and rectify deficiencies identified through health checks.
• Experience with middleware components (Tivoli, Backup, Nessus, etc.).
• Knowledge of security topics (SIEM, Security Patching, PAM).
• Expertise in OS basis monitoring.
• Ability to program scripts and batch runs for system automation.
• Experience in supporting server migration projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with MS Defender for Endpoint Linux (Windows Defender Cloud technology) including configuration changes, scan defect resolution, and network failure handling.
• Basic Openshift Administration skills, to be managed similarly to MS Defender.

Educational Background:

• A completed degree in Applied Science / Computer Science or equivalent certifications.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in IT operations with ownership of systems and/or complex processes.
