Content Moderator - Korean

Key Responsibilities

• Review and moderate content written in native Korean across a range of platforms to support market-specific content moderation and cultural accuracy
• Enforce content policies with awareness of native Korean linguistic nuances, slang, and cultural context
• Detect harmful, misleading, or sensitive content tailored to the niche Korean-speaking market
• Ensure content decisions comply with platform guidelines and applicable legal standards
• Keep abreast of Korean internet trends, viral topics, and evolving digital behaviour
• Process sensitive or explicit content in a professional and objective manner
• Consistently deliver high levels of accuracy, quality, and productivity
• This level of expertise is not substitutable with non-native or intermediate speakers

Technical skills

• Mandatory requirement to be fully independent in writing, reading and speaking in native Korean, with strong understanding of Korean culture, social norms, humour, slang, and regional context
• Ability to interpret meaning beyond direct translation, including tone, intent, and implicit messaging
• Ability to make accurate judgment calls on culturally sensitive content
• This level of expertise is not substitutable with non-native or intermediate speakers
• Online community experience and exposure
• Experience with confidential information collection and management (preferable)

Other Requirements

• Willing to work in a complete night shift environment
• This is a FTC of 12 months
• Comfortable working with explicit and sensitive content
• Able to handle high-pressure scenarios with professionalism
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
