Data Scientist, Intern

Position Overview

The Kuala Lumpur office serves as the technological hub for MoneyLion, where we take pride in our innovative projects and excel in a dynamic and challenging atmosphere.

We are seeking a data science intern to become a part of our diverse team of pioneers and industry disruptors dedicated to transforming the finance sector!

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses to gain insights into user interactions with our products and identify opportunities for enhancements.
• Uncover new insights and understand business performance through data analysis.
• Create dashboards to monitor essential metrics.
• Support the regular maintenance and day-to-day operations within the data science team.
• Assist in prototyping and exploring new machine learning projects at MoneyLion.
• Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and succinct manner.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a technical degree program in a quantitative discipline, such as computer science, mathematics, or actuarial science.
• Skilled in R, Python, Matlab, or other analytics/data mining software.
• Experience in machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling, gained through academic or professional settings.
• A quick learner with the capability to independently solve problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail.
• Available for a minimum of 4 months for the internship.
