Automated UAT Script Developer

The primary role of this developer is to streamline User Acceptance Testing (UAT)—the crucial final assessment conducted to ensure that a system meets the needs of business users prior to its launch. Rather than performing repetitive manual tests, they develop scripts that automate these verification processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert manual test scenarios into automated testing scripts.
• Create and sustain automated UAT and regression testing frameworks.
• Examine business requirements to determine automation opportunities.
• Execute tests, analyze failures, and document software defects.
• Verify that fixed defects function as intended.
• Compile testing documentation and evidence for UAT sign-off.
• Enhance reusable automation tools and refine testing methodologies.
• Engage with business users, analysts, project managers, and software developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Micro Focus UFT, Selenium, or comparable automation frameworks.
• Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or VBScript are a plus.
• Knowledge of ALM/HPQC, Jira, or similar test management systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capable of working autonomously while managing multiple testing activities concurrently.
