Our client is a global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) organisation focused on designing and delivering complex projects in controlled and regulated environments. About the role

As a Construction Supervisor, you will report to the relevant Lead Engineer or System Engineer and oversee semiconductor project site installation activities. Your role includes ensuring all works meet approved specifications, shop drawings, space management drawings, and relevant safety and quality standards.

Job Description

• Confirm that all site installations are carried out in line with approved specifications, current shop drawings, and space management drawings.
• Work with contractors to address site issues, and provide timely updates to the engineering team on potential design implications from proposed site modifications.
• Maintain installation quality control according to project specifications and requirements.
• Ensure contractors follow the approved method statements and risk assessment requirements.
• Apply applicable company standard operating procedures and construction requirements.
• Track construction progress and subcontractor manpower, flagging possible schedule delays and manpower shortfalls to the System Engineer, along with an evaluation of subcontractor performance.
• Maintain consistent housekeeping practices to support a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Coordinate with Construction Management, Quality Assurance and Quality Compliance teams, discipline supervisors, system engineers, safety personnel, subcontractors and foremen.
• Set up site mock-up locations and relevant details, and support the System Engineer in inspections to secure alignment from relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience in building, industrial, chemical plant, data centre or similar projects.
• Practical experience with site installation and construction activities within the relevant discipline.
• Trade background candidates, such as welder or pipe fitter, with progression to foreman level are preferred.
• Experience supervising contractors, supervising installation quality, and coordinating site activities.
• Experience in semiconductor or other controlled-environment projects will be an advantage.

• Location : Depending on Project
• Working days : 5 days work week
• Salary : $7,800
