Our client is a prominent design-and-build firm renowned for its extensive portfolio in industrial, commercial, and large-scale construction projects. They are seeking skilled Structural Engineers to become integral members of their project team, collaborating closely with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate structural design and engineering tasks for various building projects.
- Examine structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submissions.
- Collaborate with Structural Consultants, Architects, M&E Consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Evaluate structural proposals, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
- Deliver technical support for reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundations, slabs, beams, and columns.
- Perform site inspections and address structural design and construction challenges.
- Integrate structural work with architectural, civil, and M&E disciplines.
- Communicate with consultants and authorities regarding design submissions and technical issues.
- Assess RFIs, design modifications, site discrepancies, and as-built documentation.
- Assist the Project Manager in meeting project timelines, quality standards, and budget goals.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in structural design, building construction, or design-and-build projects.
- Experience with industrial, commercial, warehouse, or large-scale building projects is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structures, as well as structural design and detailing.
- Familiarity with Singapore codes and statutory regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with ETABS, SAP2000, or SAFE is advantageous.
- Excellent technical, communication, and coordination abilities.

- Location: North West
- Working hours: 5.5 Days
- Salary: up to S$6,000, AWS, and VB (Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications)
