Captive Account Manager / Captive Insurance Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Captive Client Account Manager to oversee client relationships and ensure adherence to financial regulations. This position focuses on precise financial management and active client interaction to deliver superior service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee relationships with a selection of captive insurance clients, guaranteeing exceptional service delivery. Analyze pertinent regulations and keep clients updated, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards. Ensure adherence to corporate governance practices. Support the implementation of projects that align with business goals. Manage treasury and investment activities for clients, conducting reconciliations as necessary. Administer accounting processes related to insurance and claims for clients. Collaborate with clients to prepare and review budgets, policies, and procedures. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including brokers, regulators, and auditors. Provide management and statutory reporting in accordance with financial regulations. Facilitate client board meetings, aiding in the documentation of decisions and necessary materials. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant discipline. Professional certification (such as CA or ACCA) is preferred. Demonstrated experience in client account management or financial accounting in the captive insurance sector. In-depth understanding of insurance accounting principles and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client relationship management. Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Detail-oriented with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines. Proactive and upbeat demeanor.
