Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Overview:

• The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a crucial role in enabling businesses to harness data effectively. This position involves designing and developing dashboards, identifying areas for improvement, and providing actionable solutions. The analyst will work closely with leadership, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to fulfill data requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage directly with business units to fulfill all reporting, data extraction, and information requirements.
• Recognize and implement continuous improvement strategies within data management processes across relevant systems.
• Serve as the expert in information delivery by developing ad hoc reports, dashboards, and data mining processes tailored to business needs.
• Collect and comprehend business requirements to establish functional specifications for reporting applications.
• Design and execute data analyses, collection systems, and strategies that enhance statistical efficiency and quality.
• Leverage advanced knowledge of business applications such as RPA, Power BI, SQL, SAP, and Salesforce to integrate datasets for addressing business inquiries.
• Source data from primary and secondary sources while maintaining databases.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and utilize statistical techniques for insights.
• Maintain databases by acquiring data from various sources.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of business processes as they relate to system integration and interfaces.

Required Skills:

• Diploma or undergraduate degree, ideally in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, proficiency in English, and exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrate independence, motivation, initiative, and a solid sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Macros.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
• Skilled in writing complex SQL queries and knowledgeable in Power BI.
• Strong understanding of relational, analytical, and multi-dimensional database architectures.
• Advanced analytical abilities to comprehend both business and technical functions, process information swiftly, and evaluate impacts on data elements.
• Foster strong ownership and collaborative teamwork for mutually beneficial outcomes.
