Azure Cloud Engineer

Position:

• We seek a proactive cloud engineer to become part of our cloud and infrastructure team, dedicated to delivering secure, dependable, and scalable cloud solutions.
• This position is perfect for individuals with hands-on experience in constructing and maintaining MS Azure infrastructure, automating deployments using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC), leveraging Azure DevOps, and managing or troubleshooting cloud networking.
• Your responsibilities will encompass cloud infrastructure deployment, operational assistance, automation, networking, security enhancements, and ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, provision, configure, and support infrastructure, focusing primarily on MS Azure.
• Construct and sustain cloud infrastructure employing Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Create and maintain infrastructure deployment workflows utilizing Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure and resolve issues related to Azure networking components, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, VNet peering, Private Endpoints, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and load-balancing solutions.
• Deliver hands-on administration and operational support for cloud infrastructure as well as Windows/Linux servers.
• Diagnose production cloud and infrastructure challenges, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement necessary solutions or workarounds to reduce downtime.
• Assist in cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, implementations, and modernization projects.
• Execute vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and infrastructure patching across the supported environments.
• Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks utilizing Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, or other relevant tools.
• Monitor the availability, performance, and capacity of infrastructure, proactively identifying areas for enhancement.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud/infrastructure engineering.
• Extensive practical experience managing and supporting MS Azure environments.
• Proficient in using Terraform for the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, preferably including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployments.
• Experience in troubleshooting cloud, network, and server infrastructure issues within production settings.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with scripting or automation via PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Knowledge of cloud security, vulnerability remediation, patching, and infrastructure hardening techniques.
